As the Founder and Chief Patron of MAEER's MIT Group of Institutions and Founder President of MIT World Peace University, he has built a globally respected education ecosystem spanning multiple disciplines, shaping generations of future-ready and value-driven leaders.

Inspired by the philosophy of Swami Vivekananda, he pioneered the concept of “Education for Peace, Harmony, and Progress,” making it the foundation of MIT's academic vision. As Executive Director & Trustee of the MIT Group of Institutions, he plays a key role in shaping and scaling a vast academic network impacting over 50,000 learners annually. With a proven track record of establishing 10+ new-age institutions, his leadership is defined by execution excellence, structured planning, and long-term institutional vision.

He holds a PG Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the University of Oxford, a PhD and Master's from the University of Sheffield, UK, and a Bachelor's in Engineering from the University of Pune - bringing a strong global academic foundation to his leadership approach.

A strong believer in technology-led transformation, Dr. Karad is the founding force behind Edugild, a global platform supporting edtech startups in AI, XR, and emerging learning technologies.
